I worked here for four years before I moved to my present working place. It was a Guest House that cater mainly to golfers from the US. This is one of the few places I really miss a lot. Hard work but the setting made up for it.

It is just outside Tralee, Co. Kerry. It was called Barrow Country House. Belonged to the person I still work for. He sold it.
Now I work here. Lyrath Hotel
It is and will always be beautiful. I have a picture taken when we had a heavy storm there. Water all over the front part. I had to close the window of the one side of my apartment as the waves kept breaking so close that the water came in.

It is now private house.

Oh boy, it is beautiful. Definitely not a place we can afford, but so nice to appreciate... Wonder if we can afford Tea and Scones there?

The little stone building in the left corner of the picture was my "staff acommodation".

We had plenty of these little rascals in the garden. This baby was found infront of my door. Did not even ran away when I touched it.

Only friends I had during the long winters when we were closed.

Paisley, the 3rd picture of the first set that you posted, reminds me of an area inside Cape Town's castle. I'm referring to the section behind the "Kat" near the dolphin fountain. *Look*

Well, almost...

Wow! Close. The amazing thing about this place was, in summer it had a real Med feeling to it. That is when the sun was shinning. The west coast of Ireland can be very rough. Just like the west coast in SA. My neighbour surprised us with fantastic lobsters every now and then.
Yummy!!!
