Hi,

I hope there is someone who can help me...

I have a British EU passport (with Citizenship) and if we were to consider moving to Germany - would it be possible for my husband to automatically qualify for a work permit?

Thanks

Sambo

Yes, as the spouse of an EEA National he would qualify for a residence permit which would automatically allow him to work. You have to apply for the permit at the German Embassy in JHB/Pretoria (forget where it is) before you move to Germany.

Sambo,

I can only add to Natalie's advice. Go and look HERE.

Good luck to you guys. Someone with an Engineering and MBA degree, in my mind is HIGHLY qualified.

Shout if you have more questions.
