The responsibility lies with the applicant to verify if their qualification(s) is on UK Standard. The NARIC people do that for you.

If you go HERE you will find everything you are looking for.

If you go HERE, you can go directly to their services page. If you only need to apply for a Letter of Comparability, it costs GBP 34,00 for an on-line application. It takes more or less 10 to 15 days. Make sure they post it to you as it needs to be an origional.
(Please note that you also have to post to them your degree transcripts and a copy of your degree.)

We used Fedex to send it to them overnight. It takes 2 days.

Is there any SA qualifications not acceptable in the UK?

Swerwer,

They seems to only want highly qualified individuals for HSMP (Highly Skilled Migrant Program). It is best to find out for a fact, rather than guessing and never applying. As one does not know what their credentials are. It is better to find out on the website first.

It is best to go to Border and Immigration's website to find out.

We used Breytenbachs for our HSMP and entry clearance. It was expenses but we got very good service from them.
