There are also a few castles around London with nice cafeterias. You can sit down and have tea and scones with cream and jam... I remember the good old days. But I can't remember those castles... can any of you remember/suggest one of those? There are so many great places to utilize... and not nearly enough time.

Paisley, the Canadian bunch who are interested, are at least 10... but suddenly became quiet... so I am a bit lost... maybe if we defenitaley decided on a venue, I can PM them the link to the discussion and see what pops out.

How does that sound?

Like the hotel... looked at the photos. Very nice!

Sounds perfect. I think this venue thing can become a mission to find a suitable place that is quiet and not the hussle of things. I do not know what happen to the Canadian people, but am sure between you and me we can put away a few scones. rolleyes.gif
I cannot think of any castles. Maybe a pub is better!

Hey Everyone,

What about The Windsor Castle?

Then there is Windsor Castle itself as well... the one built for William the conqueror... but don't know if they have a tea room. Lots of pubs in that area though.

Seems like the UK High Tea Club is off to a slow start wink.gif

I would like to join if another one is arranged.... how about the first week of November?
