Hi,
We are planning to go to Spain on holiday to visit my brother and sister. We have to apply for a Schengen Visa, but as we live in Bristol I was wondering if anyone could recommend a visa agency to assist with this?
I have seen a couple of companies that provide this service on the Internet:

It would obviously be quite costly for me and my husband to travel to London and back twice to drop off our Passport and pick it up again - not to mention to have to take 2 days leave... so would prefer to get an agency to assist with this.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I know a lot of people who prefer to visit via France. The French Embassy issue a Schengen visa on the same day (but it does take the whole day). The Spanish Embassy has a long waiting list for it's appointments and have a reputation for being difficult. We got hubby's Schengen via the Norwegian Embassy so it was a breeze - haven't ventured into the Spanish Embassy yet myself.
But I'm sure you have it all organized by now.

Hi Caroline,
Thanks for the advice. While we did obtain our Schengen Visa's through the Spanish Consulate in the end (and had a wonderful holiday in Spain
), it really is difficult to apply through Spain. We used Multi Travel Visas in London to arrange it, and the service was excellent.
In future, we will however rather apply through France... much quicker.
